Yummy Berries



Today as a snack, I noshed on some berries. Not only are they fruity and yummy,but they are good for you. They contain what are called phytonutrients. Many of these phytonutrients (such as anthocyanins, quercetin, and ellagic acid) have an antioxidant effect: They counter the natural oxidation in the body that contributes to aging of the tissues and many degenerative illnesses such as cancer, dementia, and damage to the arteries. So eating berries is a win win!

Essie "Cute As a Button"

I got this color on my nails and toes last night. It actually looks more pink in the bottle than it does on my nails. But I absolutely love Essie nail polishes. They are my new obsession!

Coffee Du Jour


Are you a coffee drinker? I certainly am. I like to have a cup or two every morning while I do my makeup and get ready for work. I also like to sip a cup of Joe while going through my emails. It energizes me and boosts my metabolism. Recent studies even show that coffee drinkers are less likely to have type 2 diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and dementia and have fewer cases of certain cancers, heart rhythm problems, and strokes. I'll drink to that!
