I'm Back from Vacay!!!!
I spent the past week on vacation in Florida. I had an amaze time. It rained the first few days, so I spent most of my time relaxing and sightseeing. The food was amazing. I ate seafood almost every day:) I also did some shopping and of course spent as much time possible catching rays on the beach. Check out the video for pics!

Ok. Ready for a SUUUUPER long post? Here it is:) This is OH SO overdue, but better late than never right? I have been swamped with work, school, and life lately that I haven't gotten to blog as much. I miss you guys! Anyway I thought I would fill you in on what you've missed:)
I've also been taking on the task of eating healthier AND decorating my place. I'm all done with the kitchen table. What do you think?
Last month I went to New Orleans for MARDI GRAS!!!! Whoop! Whoop! Bangin food, parties, music, everything. LOVE love love Nola:)

Had an AMAZE v-day. My love bought me a gorgeous diamond necklace and showered me with lots of love and gifts!
Of course work and school take up ALOT of my time. But guess who's receiving her MBA in June?! I've also been trying to squeeze in extra workouts for my upcoming vacay:)

Happy 2012!
I spent my New Years Eve in where else...New Orleans! I had a freaking blast. Right before midnight I went to the top of a building overlooking the city and watched the Fleur de Lis drop and the fireworks that followed. It was gorgeous! I also toasted to the New Year with a glass of champagne. Now time to go in on these New Years Resolutions;) HAPPY NEW YEAR MY LOVES!!!

In my family, a grand tradition is to attend the annual Bayou Classic. Southern University and Grambling University vie for the title and bragging rights every year. Along with the big game in New Orleans Superdome is the battle of the bands and countless parties. This was the first year I attended since I was 13 and I went all the way in! Check out the pics!

Looking Forward To the Holidays
I am so freakin ready for the Holidays. This will be my first year celebrating here in the states in a long time and it makes me extremely happy to be around family and friends. Last year I spent Thanksgiving and Christmas in Belgium, the year before that Turkey, and the year before that Italy. Although I love traveling and experiencing how other cultures celebrate, it will be magical for me this year to experience actual...yes I said actual Turkey lol I can't wait for Black Friday shopping with my mom and my family's grand tradition of "Bayou Classic". If you don't know what it is read up on it;) My grandmother also makes some AMAZING Gumbo that will make you want to slap her. Not to mention cold cuddle weather, hot chocolate, peppermint tea, and candy canes. And if it's cold enough this winter here, I may even get to light my fireplace.
Now that I'm getting older, I realize just how important family is, and I can't wait to celebrate another year of an amazing life with mine. I'm so thankful for everything and everyone God has blessed me with. What better way to show him thanks by a ton of celebration and shopping:)

Happy Halloween!
Although I'm not a big proponent of Halloween (blame my upbringing) I decided to dress up this year as a CSI woman. I went to a costume party and had the time of my life. I guess today is officially Halloween so I need to catch up on my candy eating. What were you for Halloween?
