How To Lose Weight FAST Without Pills

Let's face it. At some point or another many of us have been in a situation where we need to lose weight QUICK. Although I'm an advocate of living a healthy lifestyle versus crash dieting, there have been situations where I've had to look slim and trim in a short amount of time. In this video I give you FIVE tips and tricks I use to aid in quick weight loss that are without pills, extremes, and are tried and true. Thank me later!:)

Happy Saturday!

I'm so ashamed to say that I have not "blogged" in so long. Life can be crazy. I'm learning to take the time I need to be sane, happy, and healthy out of each day. Today was my first day at home with no distractions in months.....months! Crazy right. I realized I've been so busy running to birthdays, holidays, and other things with my friends and family I neglected to take time for Ciara. I would encourage any of you who are not taking the proper time out of your day to tend to your home, health, or anything concerning you to do so. It will make all the difference.
Got some Fro-Yo with yummy toppings:)
Got my truck serviced and clean. Look how she sparkles:)
Made a late lunch: Veggie Skewers, Whole Cooked Lobster, & Homemade Lemon Butter Sauce

How to Get a Tiny Waist

Benefits of Yoga

Yoga is said to unite the mind, body, and spirit. But why is it important? Is it even a good workout? I've recently started practicing yoga and it made me curious as to why it has become such a phenomenon. Here's why:

1. It stabilizes your autonomic nervous system equilibrium

2. Increases cardiovascular efficiency

3. Increases flexibility

4. Normalizes weight

5. Increases immunity

6. Improves dexterity, posture, and resiliency

7. Normalizes digestion

8. Improves eye-hand coordination

9. Increases energy and endurance

10. Increases metabolism

Whew! That is alot of reasons to grab and mat and get to posing. I never fully understood how beneficial yoga was until I did my research and boy am I glad I did. Yoga is not only beneficial on the inside, but also the outside.

Ab Cuts Review

I have been trying out Ab Cuts for about 7 months now, but is it worth the hype? I think yes! Ab Cuts is not a thermogenic or fat burner diet pill that you may be used to. It's ALL NATURAL and uses CLA and Omega 3's to naturally burn fat in your stomach, butt, and thighs. So far I have had great results with it and I think it is worth every penny. Try it out and let me know what you guys think!

Tuesday Morning Workout

It's Tuesday morning and I just had an AMAZING workout. I've found that when I workout in the morning it energizes my day and brightens my mood. It also increases my level of focus and productivity. Today I did 30 mins of cardio intervals on the treadmill and 30 mins of full body weights. What times of the day do you workout best??

Healthy Lunch Idea

Open Faced Tuna Salad Sandwhich

Hey loves! Many of you have been asking me about what I'm eating on my quest to get bikini ready for spring break. Here is a healthy lunch idea that you might like to try.

I made a low-fat low-cal tuna salad by mixing tuna, a little bit of low fat mayo and seasoning with salt, pepper, seasoning salt, and garlic powder. Toast some whole grain bread and top with baby spinach and tomatoes, and voila!

If you'd like you could even pair it with some baby carrots and hummus for added protein. This meal is packed full of protein, vitamins, and nutrients you need to get through a work out. Bon Apetite!

Starting My New Year Off Right

It's that time of year...when every delusional human being in America decides to join the gym and "really get in shape" this year. Unfortunately I fall into the same miserable category. But at least I already had a gym membership right?

Anyhow today I started back in the gym after a month long hiatus. I did some low weight reps on every part of my body (arms, chest, abs, legs) and did 30 minutes of intervals on the treadmill. It felt good to be back in the gym and hopefully whipping my butt back into shape.

To take it a step even further I stocked my fridge full of fruits, veggies, and lean protein- and my cabinets with whole grains. I also took the $20 plunge to try "Ab Cuts" which is a dietary supplement promising to get me "ripped". My trouble area is my tummy, so I thought I would give it a whirl. Despite the bad reviews and the fact that it's a glorified omega 3 vitamin, we'll see what the results are! Excuse my cynicism, but I'm an MBA student and catchy marketing schemes rarely get me off.

So my plan is to maintain a healthy lifestyle overall that includes eating healthy (not starving myself), working out regularly, and taking vitamins. What are you doing for your body in 2012?

What I Eat To Get Camera-Ready

A big part of what I do is recruiting through PR and media relations. From time to time I do public appearances and TV interviews to talk about what I do. Tomorrow morning I will be appearing on a local morning show to do just that. We all know the camera adds 10 unforgiving pounds, so I do everything I can to look slimmer and "camera-ready" so to speak. Here are my tips on what to eat/drink:

Today's lunch/dinner: Asparagus, mushrooms,
fish, and a sweet potato
1. Drink lots of water!

2. Flush with diuretic fruits and veggies like watermelon and asparagus

    3. Minimize carbohydrates and salt because these can make you look puffy

Here is an example of what I eat the day before an appearance or photoshoot. It consists of mostly fish and veggies along with a sweet potato for energy. Of course I will be washing this down with lots of water as well. Wish me luck!:)
